Practical Photography Reviews Seamless Flash Softbox
Practical Photography Magazine has published a review of the Seamless Flash Softbox in the April edition of their publication. This is the first time that a third party print magazine has reviewed any Seamless photo equipment and we could not be happier with their findings. Practical Photography magazine is one of the UK’s most read and respected publications for photographers of all levels with advice articles, technique tutorials, peer analysis and gear reviews. Not only was Practical Photography impressed with the Seamless Flash Softbox 30cm but also with the Seamless operation as a whole.
Practical Photography Gives Seamless Thumbs Up!
Practical Photography magazine selected to review the Seamless Flash Softbox but first gave their readers an overview of what exactly Seamless is. Technique editor James Abbott writes, “Seamless is a relatively new company co-founded by Irish photographer Padraic Deasy, the European Portrait Photographer of the Year in 2010. Its aim is to ‘empower all photography lovers with good quality photo gear at affordable prices’. And judging by its sizeable array of innovative products, which range from triggers and studio flash heads to photo albums and mounts, Seamless is staying true to its word.”
There were more than a few smiles and yelps around the Seamless offices when this was read aloud for the first time. We all believe in our camera accessories but is another experience seeing it in print in a magazine that many of us have been reading for years.
Camera Accessories from Seamless
The Seamless line of camera accessories and photo equipment is extensive, that is why are so thrilled that Practical Photography has chosen to spotlight one of our best selling products. The Seamless Flash Softbox 30cm is an octagonal softbox that secures onto almost any speedlight or flashgun to soften and make the light more flattering. This is achieved by passing the light from the flash though a diffused white material that scatters the light, making it less harsh than a direct flash bulb.
Practical Photography Praise for Flash Softbox
On to Practical Photography’s review itself of the Seamless Flash Softbox. Abbott continues by saying, “It feels surprisingly tough and durable, with a faux leather exterior and textured silver interior coating. An elasticated Velcro strap wraps around the flashgun and keeps the unit in place, while rubberised interior straps offer extra grip. It’s incredibly easy to fit and feels remarkably robust.”
