In this week’s show, we chat to portrait photographer Sam Barker about always being professional, constantly thinking about light and the best way to get your work in front of the right people.
Sam Barker’s Bio:
Sam Barker began his career in photography in 1997 while attending the prestigious London School of Printing. Here Sam started to shape his distinctive style of photography. Within a short period of time, Sam’s work was spotted by The Telegraph, Landrover and GQ Magazine. It was not long before his work was picked up by worldwide publishing houses and renowned advertising agencies. Sam Barker shoots globally sharing his time between London and New York. He shoots global Campaigns for the Likes of Hugo Boss and Glenfiddich, amongst others, while continuing to shoot travel stories and personal projects all over the world. He also is a regular contributor to the National Portrait Gallery where he has 12 portraits in the permanent collection and has also won the prestigious One Life International Photography prize.
