“My inspiration for this backdrop is ‘Tessa in the red dress’, one of my best-known pieces. Gold is a huge part of my brand and business. Gold is how I describe when I teach, that I found my value. I purchased a gold wallet for my business cards in the first three years of business. When I designed the LA studio, the black and gold entrance was my first inspiration. To me, gold means luxury and expensive and I am always drawn to it. I love the subtle tones and how it looks contemporary but still ornate.” - Sue Bryce
